Sandra H. ‘Sandy’ Garcia Todd – Carroll Township

CARROLL TOWNSHIP Sandra H. “Sandy” Garcia Todd, 85, of Carroll Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025, at Grand view Est ates, Elizabeth To w n ship, where she had resided for the past two years. Born in North Charleroi on Jan. 15, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Gustavo and Helen Fendya Garcia. She was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish. Mrs. Todd was a 1957 graduate of Donora High School and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. She loved to knit, enjoyed reading and had a love for cooking, especially for her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Todd, on Jan. 16, 2009; and her brother, Stephen J. Garcia. Surviving to cherish her memory are her two children, Thomas G. (Mary Beth) Todd of Hempfield Township and Tamera (Ross) Ference of Carroll Township; four grandchildren, Alex (Shelby) Todd, Nathan Todd, Katie Todd and husband Zach Rulli, and Will Gaffey; two sisters-in-law, Carol Griger and Nancy Garcia; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Carroll Township/Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2025. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Donora site. Interment will follow at Monongahela Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the activities department at Grandview Estates, 1151 Scenery Drive, Elizabeth, PA 15037, in Sandy’s name.
