Train hits car in Lower Speers

Charleroi firefighters responded to the State Street crossing in Lower Speers around 9:05 p.m. Thursday for a vehicle struck by a train. No injuries were reported, but several crossings in Speers and Charleroi were closed until Norfolk Southern Railroad completed its investigation. Bujanowski Towing assisted at the scene. Charleroi VFD
