Early-morning crash on Elizabeth Bridge

Elizabeth Borough Volunteer Fire Co. firefighters and Elizabeth Township police responded to a tractor-trailer crash on the Elizabeth Bridge on the West Elizabeth side at 4 a.m. Wednesday. Crews worked for about three hours, and rush-hour traffic was backed up until the crash site was cleared. Jefferson Hills police and firefighters assisted at the scene.
