Ronald P. DiPiazza – Ocala, Fla.

Ronald P. DiPiazza, 82, of Ocala, Fla., passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 24, 2025, at Advent Hospital, Ocala, Fla. Ronald was born in Charleroi, Pa., on Jan. 28, 1943, to Peter and Margaret DiPiazza. He grew up in Lock 4. Ronald went on to complete extensive education, earning degrees from Penn State, Carnegie Mellon and Duquesne universities. Ronald had many varied endeavors, including an engineering consulting company, law practice and an Appaloosa horse breeding operation. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Evonne; his daughters, Michelle DiPiazza, Melanie (Adam) Hagan and Kimberly DiPiazza; and grandchildren, Cole, Laine and Roman Hagan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Margaret Magone DiPiazza; and sister, Arlene DiPiazza. A celebration of life will be held in the Mon Valley in June 2026. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association in Ronald’s name.
