Charleroi Home Damaged in Fire

Charleroi Fire Department and several mutual aid partners were dispatched to a structure fire at 719 Fallowfield Ave. Wednesday afternoon. Chief Bob Whiten Jr. said there were two people in the kitchen, where the fire originated, and it looked like something was cooking on the stove. The burning extended up the walls and across the ceiling, but was contained to that area with only smoke and water damage.
