Seeking tips, police release video in fatal McKeesport shooting

By the MVI

Allegheny County Police released surveillance video and new details about a June 2024 fatal shooting in McKeesport in hopes of getting tips about the identities of two people and the driver of a getaway car.

Bryant Boyd, 64, of Duquesne was fatally shot June 13, 2024, as he left Cal’s Cantina on Eden Park Boulevard at 12:40 a.m. Police believe Boyd was not the intended target of the shooting.

Surveillance video from the bar released by investigators showed two people walking in the parking lot with guns and then getting into a maroon Chevrolet Malibu.

The video showed the two people run toward Boyd as he left the building. The shooters left in the Chevy. Police said Boyd was shot multiple times. The Chevy was recovered a few hours later in North Versailles. It had been reported a week earlier from McKeesport.

Anyone with information is asked to call the County Police Tip Line 1-833-2558477 (ALL-TIPS). Callers can remain anonymous.
