• Jeffrey L Helon, 40, of Charleroi was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, simple assault and harassment stemming from an alleged incident Sunday, court records state. Helon is being held in Washington County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond. A preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Louis J. McQuillan is set for 9:15 a.m. July 10.
