Ringgold High School names top graduates

Commencement is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday for 200 graduates.

Ringgold High School will hold its 2025 commencement at 7 p.m. June 9 in the high school gymnasium.

There are 200 graduates. Class of 2025 valedictorian is Brandon Tran Nguyen. Salutatorian is Kaylie Marie Rabbitt.

Brandon Tran Nguyen is the son of Phuc and Huong Nguyen of Carroll Township. He received an academic scholarship from Pittsburgh University, Peer Jury Merits, Westinghouse Science Honors and was named the RHS student of the month for February. He is Technology Students’ Association president, SADD president, National Honor Society treasurer, Interact Club secretary, RHS swim team captain and plays golf and tennis for Ringgold. He works at the Mon Valley YMCA as a lifeguard and is a member of the Mon Valley Swim Club.

He plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh to major in pre-law.

Kaylie Marie Rabbitt is the daughter of Lindsay Rabbitt of Monongahela and Brian Rabbitt of Jefferson Hills. Kaylie received scholarships from Carlow University, received the College in High School Award, a trustee scholarship, nursing scholarship, Peer Jury Merits, Westinghouse Science Honors, and was a RHS student of the month for November. She was Science Club president, Interact Club vice president, student council grade level representative, Ringgold PBIS Lighthouse team’s head of executive committee, member of the National Honor Society and Ringgold swim team captain. She is a member of the RHS Care Closet Reorganization, RHS library book donations, and she babysits.

She plans to attend Carlow University to major in nursing.
