Officer Jeffrey Toth accepted a new position elsewhere, and his K-9 partner Mitch will retire.

Monongahela City Council said goodbye to two important members of the police force on Wednesday.

During council’s voting meeting, they accepted the resignation of Officer Jeffrey Toth, who was responsible for the K-9 unit at the Monongahela Police Department.
