Car crashes in North Belle Vernon

A crash took place shortly after 4 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of Broad Avenue in North Belle Vernon. One vehicle rolled over, and part of a utility pole was sheared off. One male was transported to a hospital via STAT MedEvac. Responding to the scene were North Belle Vernon Fire Department, Washington Township Fire Company, Belle Vernon Fire Department, Rostraver Central Fire Department and Rostraver West Newton Emergency Services. Dave Wadsworth / For the Mon Valley Independent
