Westmoreland County, nonprofit working together to spread crisis response teams into 5 communities

Monessen is among the sites, and mobile crisis workers are still being hired.

Local residents who are experiencing a crisis or are seeking help for someone else who is in crisis, can call the Westmoreland County Crisis Hotline (1-800-836-6010) 24 hours, seven days a week.

The service provides crisis support, resources and referrals to a mobile crisis program operated by nonprofit Westmoreland Community Action.
