Donora plans upgrade of security camera system

Security Systems will conduct troubleshooting of the existing cameras to determine the cost.

Donora Council made a move this week to start improving its security camera system by accepting a nearly $6,500 quote from Security Systems to start troubleshooting the existing framework and install new equipment.

Councilman Casey Perotta said the borough paid $90,000 over a period of 10 years to establish the existing system, but the company that did the work has since gone out of business.
