Charleroi adjourns council meeting with no action taken

Some council members didn’t want to vote on certain agenda items without the solicitor.

Charleroi’s council meeting was recessed after only a few minutes Wednesday.

There were nine items on the agenda up for a vote:

• The approval of bills for March and April.

• Hiring up to six summer workers up to 35 hours per week at a rate of $15 per hour.

• Authorizing the lease of borough property for a dumpster for $125 per year.
