Monongahela Area Historical Society to host maple sugar event at Rabbit Hollow Farm

The special event is open to the public and set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

It’s spring and maple sugaring time at Rabbit Hollow Farm in Carroll Township.

The Monongahela Area Historical Society is sponsoring a special event for the public to visit Rabbit Hollow Farm at 10:30 a.m. Saturday to see how maple sugaring is done. Children are welcome.

After the demonstration/ presentation is over, visitors can enjoy brunch at the farm. While the event is free, donations will be accepted by the proprietors to help with their food costs to prepare brunch.

Space is limited and reservations are required.

Those who would like to attend are asked to call the historical society at 724-2582111. Participants are asked to leave their name, number attending and a call-back number in case there is a question.
