Dominick V. Vesio – Rostraver Township

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Dominick V. Vesio, 91, of Rostraver Township, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025, at the Residence at Hilltop, Monong ahela. He was born on July 8, 1933, in Monessen, the son of the late Michael Angelo and Antonia “Rose” Floro Vesio. He was a member of the church of Saint Anne. Dominick served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a life member of American Legion Post 0347 (Lady Lake, Florida), Monessen Elks 773 and Knights of Columbus No. 954 (Monessen). He was a branch manager for Chubb Corp. and later started his own private insurance and investment company in Belle Vernon. He is survived by two daughters, Rosann Vesio of Belle Vernon and Loris (Dr. James) Connolly of Rostraver Township; two sons, Dr. Kenneth (Lenora) Vesio of Natrona Heights and William Vesio; and by nine grandchildren, eight greatgrandchildren and two nieces. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dolores T. DiFlorio Vesio; and sister, Mary (Vesio) Flaherty. Private family visitation and service was held in the DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Entombment followed in the Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum, Monessen.
