Ralph J. Tegnelia – Rostraver Township

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Ralph J. Tegnelia, 87, of Rostraver Township, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024. Born in North Charleroi on April 29, 1937, he was the son of the late Lindsay and Ladisca Restaino Tegnelia. Ralph was a 1955 graduate of Monessen High School. He graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with his Bachelor and Master of Business Administration degrees. He worked as a systems manager for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel and National Steel. Ralph was a member of the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver, where he was active in the Holy Name Society and served as a lector. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 954, and he honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy. Ralph is survived by his stepson, Mark Anthony (Stella) Centanni of Alexandria, Va; step-grandchildren, Alyssa Centanni and Adam Centanni; sisters, Marianne (Larry) Miller of Belle Vernon, and Dolores (John) Wilson of Houston, Texas; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Bitonti Tegnelia, in 2022; and his sister, Elvera McGlothen. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at JAMES C.
