Patricia A. Brown – Rostraver Township

Patricia A. Brown, 89, of Rostraver Township, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024. Pat was born on Oct. 13, 1934, in Kansas City, Kan. Pat was the daughter of Frank and Anna Zuchowski Wypyhoski. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Edward Wypyhoski and Lawrence Wypyhoski; and two sisters, Dorothy Wypyhoski and Dolores Eaton. She was a 1953 graduate of Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, and received an associate degree in 1984 from Westmoreland County Community College in Youngwood, Pa. Pat lived, worked and started her family in her hometown of Kansas City before moving to Belle Vernon in 1960. She worked at Fox Grocery, Wetterau and then retired from SuperValu. She was a member of St. Sebastian Church in Belle Vernon. Pat was a very generous person and was well known for baking delicious cookies for her family and friends during the holidays. She was especially proud of her three grandchildren and their accomplishments and loved spending time with them. Pat is survived by her children, Richard (Lisa) Brown, Sharon (John) Casario and David Brown; and her grandchildren, Paige (Sebastian) Perusset, Evan Brown and Aaron Brown. Arrangements are private and under the direction of DEGUSIPE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 65 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, Pa., Stacey A. Dolfi, FD. Per Pat’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
