Mon Valley Academy of Arts continues to thrive

The Mon Valley Academy for the Arts continues to live up to its name. Created in 2015 by current CEO and long-time musician Mark Smith, with help from the late state Rep. Pete Daley and well-known, seasoned musicians, the nonprofit group has stuck true to its mission to keep music – and the arts – alive in the Mon Valley.
