Rostraver Township: Moment of silence held to honor two late firefighters

A moment of silence was held at the monthly Rostraver Township meeting for two Rostraver Central firefighters who died last month.

Commissioner Devin DeRienzo announced that the two 20-year members of the fire department were John William “Bill” Bunardzya and Douglas M. Martin.

Bunardzya, 73, passed away April 7 in a line-of-duty death and was an active member, safety officer and a trustee of the Rostraver Central Fire Department Station 105 since 2004.
