Warriors shut out Colonials in home opener

Elizabeth Forward was firing on all cylinders during its home opener at Wylie Field Friday evening, and their efforts culminated in a 10-0 win over Albert Gallatin in six innings. “I thought we played well today,” Elizabeth Forward manager Frank Champ said. “I think we played a clean game. We minimized the number of walks we allowed, which we’ve talked about all year. We put the ball in play as well, and in high school, those are keys for success.”
