Richard ‘Rick’ C. Dienert – Finleyville

Richard “Rick” C. Dienert, 65, of Finleyville, died Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Jefferson Hospital. He was born April 17, 1958, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Richard “Bud” E. and Joan Donatelli Dienert. Rick was a 1977 graduate of Ringgold High School, Monongahela Division. For the past 45 years, he owned and operated Dienert Trucking in Finleyville. You could always see Rick tinkering on his truck and riding his Harley. Together with his wife, Carole, they enjoyed going to Pittsburgh Penguins games, going out to eat, attending concerts, especially Jimmy Buffet (true Parrot Heads), and vacationing in Hilton Head. He is survived by his wife, Carole Demcisak Dienert, with whom he celebrated 36 years of marriage on June 14, 2023; sister, Terry (James) Morriston of Lecanto, Fla., and their daughter, Jessica; sister-in-law, Barbara Demcisak of Monongahela; and his beloved cat, Josie. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
