Rotary offers ‘comfort bags’ for people in crisis

The White Oak Rotary Club presented its idea for “comfort bags” to White Oak Police Department Chief Mark Sergeant at Thursday’s meeting. Created by member Autumn Dougherty along with her husband Dan Dougherty — district governor elect of Rotary District 7305 for 2024-25 — the duffel bags are filled with toiletries, a blanket, a washcloth, non-perishable snacks and space for essential items.
