Tigers bounce Indians to advance

It hasn’t been pretty, but when it’s win or go home in the WPIAL playoffs, McKeesport surely doesn’t care how testy its 50-41 win over No. 7 Indiana was Friday night. After a 49-46 victory over No. 15 Hampton at home Tuesday night, the Tigers (20-3) again relied on their experience to close out a narrow win and move on to face No. 6 South Fayette on Tuesday. The winner of that matchup will take on No. 1 Oakland Catholic or No. 5 Armstrong in the Class 5A championship at the Petersen Events Center.
