Serra hands Clairton first loss

Four days after being on the losing end of a section showdown with Greensburg Central Catholic, the Serra Catholic girls basketball team was seeking a bounce-back effort Monday night. “We knew GCC was going to be a tough matchup for us,” Serra Catholic head coach Mike Voit said. “We felt like we had too many issues in the first half, but we played the way we wanted to in the second half. We really wanted to take that momentum and build on it.”
