One hospitalized as 2-alarm fire strikes Elizabeth residence

A woman is hospitalized and a family pet is missing after a fire struck a residence in Elizabeth early Friday morning. At about 5:10 a.m., crews responded to the blaze at a triplex on South Third Avenue. It took several hours to bring the two-alarm fire under control.
