Monessen: Civic center floor may need resurfacing

Recreation Director Julian Naphier attended Thursday’s Monessen council meeting to express concern about the condition of the civic center’s gym floor. Councilman John Nestor asked if the floor needed to be rewaxed, but Naphier said he thinks it requires resurfacing. “No, it needs more than a rewax,” Naphier said. “It’s bad and it’s been bad for some time.”
