Monessen to save on sewer project

Anthony Vitale, president of WEC Engineers Inc., announced during Monessen’s council meeting Thursday that the city’s sewer rehabilitation project is estimated to finish about $4.2 million under its projected cost.  “The project came in under the estimated value that we thought,” Mayor Ron Mozer said. “They’re actually able to save us some money along the way. The change orders have not blown these projects out of the realm is what I’m saying.”
