Candis J. McAdoo, 75, of Donora, passed away Friday, Nov. 24, 2023, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital in Carroll Township. She was born Sept. 5, 1948, daughter of the late Edward Burkhardt and the late Pearl Burkhardt. Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, Edward McAdoo; her children, Tabitha (Brian) Lewis of Donora, Christina (Paul) Johnson of Monessen, Missy McAdoo of Donora and Tracy Henning of Brownsville; and a sister, Lynn (Leo) Amati of Washington. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, with noon the time of the service with Pastor Robert Holmes officiating.
