BVA, East A set to clash in 3A semis

The Belle Vernon Area football team will look for its third straight WPIAL championship game appearance tonight when it meets East Allegheny for a Class 3A semifinal at Norwin High School. The game is a rematch of last season’s WPIAL quarterfinal, which the Leopards won handily 55-7. The Wildcats jumped out to a 7-0 lead before 55 unanswered points by the BVA offense.
