Frank James Cole III, 69, of Rostraver Township, formerly of Charleroi, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023. Frank was born on Sept. 18, 1954, in Washington, Pa., to the late Frank James Jr. and Ruth Elizabeth Whiteman Cole. Frank was an avid sports fan, especially while rooting for his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. In his free time Frank enjoyed fishing and spending time with his loving family. Surviving to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Kathleen Cole; his daughter, Leslie Lynne Cole of California, Pa.; his stepdaughter, Danielle Suzanne Gaskill of Sarasota, Fla.; his brother, Bruce Michael Cole of North Charleroi; also, his grandson, step-grandson, step-granddaughter, two step-great-grandchildren; his niece and two nephews. In addition to his parents, Frank was also preceded in death by his sister, Judith Lorraine Weirch. Friends and family will be received from 3 to 5 p.m., at which time the funeral service will begin on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave, Charleroi, PA 15022.
