Democrats hold Innamorato rally in McKeesport

About 150 people attended a “Get Out The Vote Rally in the Valley” Sunday afternoon at the McKeesport Palisades Event Center for Sara Innamorato, a Democrat running to be Allegheny County executive. Innamorato won a crowded Democratic primary following the retirement of Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald. Innamorato, who ran as a progressive, represents a stark departure from Fitzgerald, who is considered a moderate. The office of county executive in Allegheny County has been held by Democrats since 2004.
