Jefferson Hospital honored for cardiothoracic care unit

Allegheny Health Network’s Jefferson Hospital recently garnered national recognition for its cardiothoracic intensive care unit from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. The hospital’s CVU earned a silver-level Beacon Award for Excellence, which recognizes unit caregivers who improve patient outcomes while following AACN standards.
