William K. Huweart Jr. – Monessen

William K. Huweart Jr. of Monessen passed away on Oct. 22, 2023. He was born in Monongahela, Oct. 5, 1986, a son of William K. “Kevin” Huweart and Janice Opel Hoffman. Billy was Christian by faith and enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as spending time with his son operating their RC cars. He loved to be outdoors. A hard-working man, his off time found him with his children. He had served his country honorably as a member of the United States Marine Corps. Billy was a mechanic by trade, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, who operated Opel’s Garage in West Brownsville.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert W. and Anna Jane Opel and William B. “Bud” and Betty Irene Huweart. Surviving are his wife, Diane Cholock Huweart; his children, Levi and Bailey Huweart; his mother, Janice Opel Hoffman and husband Bill; father, William K. “Kevin” Huweart and wife, Kathleen; sister, Jennifer Galla and husband Aaron; and nephews, Aaden, Colton and Dylan. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, 2023.
