Sharon Lee Nash, 67, of Monongahela, formerly of Monessen, passed away on Oct. 23, 2023, at the Residence at Hilltop. She was born in Charleroi on April 19, 1956, daughter of the late Giustino and Patricia O’Toole Ostetrico. Sharon was Christian by faith and was also a member of the Slovak Club of Charleroi and the Monessen French Club. She greatly enjoyed antiquing, casino visits, football and spending time with her grandchildren. A registered nurse since she was 18, Sharon devoted 42 years of her life to the wellness of others at Mon Valley Hospital. She worked in ICU, was a line nurse and nurse manager. She truly loved her profession and was admired and respected by her coworkers. Surviving are her son, Justin and wife Amy Nash of Rostraver Township; daughter, Leigh Ann and husband Dax Kelly of Monongahela; and son, James and wife Monica Nash of New Eagle; seven grandchildren, Dax Kelly Jr., Alex Nash, James Nash, Hannah Nash, Chaz Kelly, Kennedy Nash and Brooke Nash; two brothers, Jules Ostetrico and Kevin and wife Jill Ostetrico; her companion of the last 20 years, Arnold Linderman; and her mother-in-law, Betty Nash. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James K. Nash; and a sister-in-law, Darlene Ostetrico. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023. Services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Oct. 26, 2023, with Pastor Paul Eisaman officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Parkinson’s research. Online condolences may be conveyed to the Nash family at www.rhomefuneralhome.com
