Cougars overcome frustration to advance

It wasn’t pretty, but the Charleroi boys soccer team will take it. The No. 1-seeded Cougars overcame a frustrating afternoon and picked up a late goal to dispose of pesky No. 16 Beaver County Christian, 1-0, Saturday at Myron Pottios Stadium. The win sends the Cougars to the WPIAL quarterfinals Wednesday.
