Rostraver approves subdivision request

Rostraver Township commissioners addressed questions about a subdivision that was ultimately approved Wednesday night after a letter to area residents falsely claimed that commissioners were approving a housing development on that land.
Commissioners made it clear that the decision to unanimously approve the Fafalios Plan No. 1, John and Susan Fafalios and Zeus Universal, LLC, simple subdivision only created a 13.37 acre parcel for living while combining the remaining acreage for a 84.1085 acre parcel. That means that there has been no housing development approved on that land, and there hasn’t been any type of plan submitted for that sort of work.
