Richard G. ‘Dick’ Komondor – New Eagle

Richard G. “Dick” Komondor, 88, of New Eagle, passed away on Monday, Sept. 25, 2023, in his home. Born on March 19, 1935, he was the son of the late George and Pauline Komondor. He was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish and was a 52-year member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 354. He was an avid motorcycle rider and builder, and he owned and operated the New Eagle Trike Shop. He was a member of GWRRA Chapter E and enjoyed hunting across Pennsylvania. Dick is survived by his wife, Nancy Komondor; sons, Richard G. (Bobbi) Komondor II of Monongahela, Jeffrey A. Komondor of Carroll Township and Scott A. (Karen) Komondor of Medina, Ohio; grandchildren, Shannon (Mark) Staschia, Justin (Cayla) Komondor, Jeffrey (Kelly) Komondor and Michael Komondor; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Eleanor Varvarinecz. Per Richard’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
