McKeesport school board has financial issues to resolve

Financial concerns were hanging over the McKeesport Area School District as students returned to class this week. The school board has yet to approve a new contract with the teachers union. It was proposed for a vote at the June meeting, but board members decided to delay a vote until the start of this school year.
