Playoff time has arrived in the MVISBL

The Mon Valley Independent Summer Basketball League wraps up this week and it all starts with the girls division semifinals tonight at Marx’s Court Time Sports Center. The night gets started at 6 p.m. with No. 2 Edward Jones (6-3) facing off against No. 3 Monessen Florist (5-4). The second game at 7 p.m. will feature No. 1 seed and regular-season champion AMD Industries (9-1) against No. 4 Dax Thomas State Farm (4-6). State Farm won a thriller Wednesday to qualify for the postseason in a winner-take-all game against Lee Supply.
