Statue unveiled near Monessen’s Sixth St. Park

Monessen unveiled a new statue Thursday near Sixth Street Park at the corner of McKee Ave and Sixth Street. The project was sponsored by the Mon River Towns program and has been in the works since 2021. The statue was made with the help of the Industrial Arts Workshop in Pittsburgh.
