Lynda Petroske, 83, of Donora, died Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Excela Health Frick Community Hospital in Mount Pleasant. She was born May 1, 1940, in Donora, daughter of the late Angel Fernandez Sr. and the late Mary Probasco Fernandez. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard N. Petroske Sr; two sisters, Barbara Hoffman and Betty Duda; and one brother, Angel Fernandez Jr. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Richard N. (Connie) Petroske Jr., Lynn Ann (Don) Trumpie, Denise (John) Watroba and Jenny (Dave) Rose; grandchildren, Richard (Lisa) Petroske III, Don (Korin) Trumpie Jr., Robert (Ashley) Trumpie, John (Amie) Watroba III, Hannah Watroba and Ashlee Rose; and great-grandchildren, Carter, Evan, Gage, Cole, Leeya, Cayden, Lauryn, Lillian and Josephine. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2023. The funeral service will be at Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service Inc. at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023, with Deacon Al Poroda officiating.
