Mark Wozniak of Fallowfield Township passed away June 25, 2023, peacefully in his home. Born on June 17, 1956, he was the son of the late JoAnn and John Wozniak of Charleroi. Mark enjoyed watching sports and was a big Steelers and Pirates fan. He liked watching golf tournaments on TV as well as playing. Mark also enjoyed keeping up with the Charleroi Area High School baseball team. A retired union painter with Local No. 6, he was a member of the Belgium Club of Charleroi and the North Charleroi Slavic Club. Surviving to cherish Mark’s memory are his loving wife, June Wozniak; two daughters, Christine Ramoski of Herndon, Va., and Jill (Ron) Deitrick of Florida; two sisters-in-law, Joan Zanardelli of Monessen and Joyce (Bob) Matthews of West Newton; and his grandson, Devon Deitrick. In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his brother, David and his wife Denise Wozniak; brother-in-law, Jack Zanardelli, sister-in-law Jane (Bob) Ross; and his sister-in-law, Janet (Joe) Dolinar. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. A funeral service will be held inside the funeral home at 11 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2023. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
