Gary T. Gauden – Roscoe

Gary T. Gauden, 64, of Roscoe, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in North Charleroi on July 8, 1958, son of the late Elijah T. and Margaret Bell Gauden Jr. Gary was a member of the American Legion Post 801, Slovak Beneficial Society and the Allenport Rod and Gun Club. Gary enjoyed hanging at the club, classic TV shows, relaxing on the front porch and being able to have lived/worked in so many different parts of the country. He is survived by four sisters, Debra Palfrey of Elkton, Md., Bonnie Hotz of Brick, N.J., Bridget Gauden of Roscoe, and Denise (Jerry) Fink of South Park; and two brothers, Samuel Gauden of Cleveland, Ohio, and James Gauden of Roscoe; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Along with his parents, Gary was preceeded in death by his sisters, Wanda L. McGarry and Janet E. Cox, and one nephew, Steven J. Hotz. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2023, at MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023.
