Crushing it in California

By Mon Valley Independent

About 40 California Area School District elementary students, teachers and community members gathered at California Rotary Park Thursday afternoon to participate in a “Crush it” health and exercise awareness event. Rachel Nagy, elementary school principal, says “Crush” is an acronym for “California raises up student health.” Throughout the year, Nagy and other teachers invited students to attend low-impact health and fitness sessions twice per week after school.
