Mark ‘Chubby’ Demchak – Monongahela

Mark “Chubby” Demchak, 57, of Monongahela, died Thursday, May 18, 2023, at home. He was born Feb. 17, 1966, in New Eagle, the son of Marjorie McCarty Demchak, with whom he resided, and the late Jack Craig Demchak. Chubby achieved his lifelong dream of being employed as a truck driver. He also worked in construction for several different companies in the Mon Valley and surrounding areas. He loved traveling, going on road trips, listening to country music and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Chubby was a loving, caring, giving and helpful man with a big heart. He will be missed dearly by his family. He is survived by two brothers, Shane and Michael Demchak, at home; two sisters, Sheri Ohler at home, Shelly Demchak of Finleyville; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Daryl Demchak. At Chubby’s request, there will be no services. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home on behalf of the family. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.fryefuneralhome.com.
