Mozer focuses on residential development

The Nehemiah of Monessen Community Development Corp. and several consultants who have a common goal of working toward ridding Monessen of blight and helping the city’s residents met Tuesday night in hopes of getting some momentum going. Mayor Ron Mozer called the meeting, which was held at His Place Coffee Shop. He invited a group of students from Carnegie Mellon University who are working with the city, representatives from United Purpose Mortgage, the Department of Community and Economic Development, Civitas Consultants, residents and others to gather with the NMCDC.
