Irene A. Sarran – North Charleroi

Irene A. Sarran, 94, of North Charleroi, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, in Southwestern Nursing and Rehab Center, West Mifflin, with her loving family by her side. She was born on Nov. 9, 1928, in Monessen, daughter of the late John and Mary Macyda Selelo. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Charleroi, Monessen High School, Class of 1946, and North Charleroi French Club. She loved going to bingos, the casino and playing cards. She worked at Corning Glass as a packer for 17 years. Surviving are her daughter, Deborah (Thomas) Lender of Monessen; son, Richard (Sally Jo) Sarran of Rochester, Minn.; three granddaughters, Jamie (James Scirotto) Lender of Rostraver Township, Kristie (Julio) Pampena of Glenshaw and Mikaela Sarran of Rochester, Minn; grandson, Rick (Codi) Sarran of Duluth, Minn; great-grandchildren, Julia and A.J. Pampena; and sister, Mary Bell of Grand Rapids, Mich. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Sarran. Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2023, at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Services will follow beginning at 11 a.m. with Pastor Randall Ord officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
