Ringgold readers hear from Clemente family

Once again, Pittsburgh Pirates legend Roberto Clemente has lent a hand to Ringgold Elementary School North’s annual Read Across America Day celebration. Dr. Seuss’ birthday Thursday was commemorated with an annual celebration that included Ringgold High School’s The Future is Mine Club members reading to each classroom and helping with a craft activity. As has become tradition, art teacher Earl Gilpin arranged a Zoom meeting with Luis Clemente, Roberto Clemente’s son.
