At age 50, she learned to swim competitively, with the help of her daughter Marcy, and enjoyed competing in U.S. Masters swimming until the age of 79, often winning events in her age group. She also enjoyed traveling the world on cruises with her second husband, Will, visiting many countries and islands. She is survived by her daughters, Marcy (Carl) Sarber and Christy (Justin) Tyberg; grandchildren, Alexa, Ryan and Dylan Tyberg; stepdaughter, Lori (Ron) Black; stepson, Loren (Natalia) Reeby; step-grandchild, Erin Reeby.
