Larry Thomas Funari, 65, of Allenport, passed away on Feb. 3, 2023, at UPMC Mon-tefiore. He was born in North Charle- roi, on April 3, 1957, son of the late Betty June Aldous Funari. Larry was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Roscoe. He was retired from Hard Stone Construction in Las Vegas.  Larry is survived by his wife, Jessie Yates Funari; a daughter, Courtney (Doug) Alexander of Windber; two grandsons, Lincoln and Grant Alexander; a sister, Christine (Charlie) Roberts of Elco; a close cousin, George Kendall of Manor; his loving dog, Mae Mae; and multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his three sisters, Edith Walters, Angeline Bloom and Mary Entz. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023, at MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES, 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, where funeral services will begin at 7:30 p.m. with Elder James Speck presiding. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to www.kidneyfund.org. Online condolences may be expressed at www.melenyzer.com.
